My trip to Kariba
Overally Kariba was not something that I had expected. I had hoped for much of the development in Kariba just like Victoria Falls. But the town itself is still in need of care. The only place that you can get good food were the hotels that could cost roughy $200 dollars per night. Firstly we had to go to the sunset cruise that was maybe $90 for the four of us. The view was good and there was some parachute diving going on and shortly we had to go to our small cruise that was just breathtaking So after the boat ride we had to visit the dam the following day- the supposed largest manmade lake. The dam is currently in progress. It is not yet done and there have been some reconstruction. I would go back again but next time without trousers. It was so hot I do recommend some shorts and sun creams.
